We had an excellent waitperson who was also the bar tender...she was fabulous. Had a peach Bellini which was light and very refreshing. Had the fish tacos that were delicious...make sure you use fresh little tortillas...mine were falling apart...my only issue...grandson had bacon guacamole burger with fries..all were generous portions. Very good fresh food...not a long wait at all...during week..lunch ..about noon...did get busy quickly....has an ATM ...I can only imagine very busy on weekends....

Best feature is getting up to Red Rocks early and not dealing with lines. Food was pretty good but a little pricey like any museum or arena meal.

Great place and great food.

Nice ambiance. Would like to have tried their menu, but b/c it was a sold out concert, they went with a buffet. Not bad, but not great either.

Service was terrible! Made a reservation well in advance, asked for a table on the patio or at least near a window and was informed it was "first come first served" as far as table. Was seated at a table by the door and noticed an empty table for 2 by the window...asked to be moved and was told it was reserved! We had general admission tickets for the concert, it took almost 40 minutes to get two cold Turkey sandwiches.

My burger was good, but my pickle looked like it lost a fight, and my side of fruit was not the freshest. However the service was good. Overall it was an OK lunch.

Delicious pizza with Elk sausage. Busy but friendly servers.

Had dinner there last Friday before attending a show at the Red Rock Amphitheater. We shared Bison Chili and Elk Sliders with onion rings and BBQ Sauce. Delicious! It took a while to get our meals, so they gave us two free desserts! We shared them with another couple that was sitting at our table. The chocolate brownie dessert and the creme brule were delicious-large portions that should be shared. The concert was suppose to start at 6pm, but once we got to the restaurant, the waitress told us that the group we were there to see, Railroad Earth, would not be preforming until 9:30pm! We had made reservations at 5pm, because Railroad Earth was suppose to start at 6pm or so we thought. We did not see anything about others groups (there were 2) preforming first. If we had known, we would of arrived much later for dinner....Beautiful views both from the restaurant and the amphitheater.

Lovely views

The sandwiches were dry. We had reservations for 2 and were told someone booked the whole thing, so they couldn't honor the reservation, but we could eat an hour early. We had no choice, we didn't bring lunch. Kind of disappointing.

Beautiful setting on the patio. Food was delicious

This year I was happy with the selection of food. The earlier your reservation the better. Santa & Mrs. Claus are wonderful!!

I LOVE RED ROCKS! Shiprock restaurant, however, not so much. We went for Easter Brunch. The food was just ok. Definitely not worth $35/person for adults and $15 for kids! It was more like the breakfast you get at a hotel, included with your stay. There was prime rib, ham, and a smoked salmon that they served as a whole fish, and you had to just dig through the carcass and get the meat 🤮 . There were more pastries than anything else. I was definitely disappointed with the quality for the price. That being said, we still had a nice time and our server was nice and attentive. I probably won't go back for Easter Brunch though.

Beautiful scenery. They have a really good fish taco. We enjoyed it.

Tasty food, generous portions, good prices, great service, lovely surroundings. We were a bit surprised to find a very good restaurant inside of Red Rocks visitor center. Great experience at the grille as well as walking around after lunch. We saw the amphitheatre as well as tons of info about geology, dinosaurs, musicians who played there. If it had been warmer and earlier in the day, we would have walked on some of the paths around the area. Really beautiful.

The views and food are amazing, but the service is laughable! Absolutely terrible.

My parents who were visiting from Michigan wanted to watch the sunset at Red Rocks, so we decided to make a dinner reservation even though we weren't going to the concert that evening (my parents are older and can't sit on bleachers). We waited in stopped traffic at the entrance to Red Rocks for 20 min. When we called at the time of our reservation to let them know we were running late, they informed us that they closed. They were good about confirming our reservation, but needed to communicate that the last seating for dinner was 7:30 pm and if we weren't there we should give up. We sat in the car for an hour and still had to go else ware for dinner.

Fish tacos were good!

Usually great, today was very disappointing though. Do not go if it isn't concert season, their already limited menu becomes even more limited. Server was a joke. He was wearing sunglasses the entire time, as if he was still hung over from the evening before. He also was also as rude as it gets, I may have been a slightly difficult myself (I am pregnant and was hungry), but you work in the service industry dude don't be rude to your customers. Anyways, we usually enjoy this restaurant, especially before shows. Today was very off though, hope it isn't the new norm as we haven't been since last summer.

OMG the food is amazing! I got the Red Rocks power salad with salmon and it was the best salad I've ever had. The salmon was smoked, which I love. Also the cream of cauliflower broccoli soup is absolutely delicious.

A nice little cafe in the museum area of Red Rocks Amphitheater. Great view. Good service with fairly typical fast food. Great for eat and run or linger and visit. Service was average as was the food but all seemed better because of the environment. Ambience outstandimg because of view.

Company event- bar was a little pricy for small drinks!

Great views, great prices. Large portions. We made a reservation for Sunday at 1. We were seated immediately. I ordered the portobello mushroom burger with carmelized onions and pepper jack cheese and fries. Yum yum. The parking area was not packed. They also have additional parking in the next lot if they ever are. Great customer service. We were unable to sit outside to eat because the patio area was under construction. But there was another sitting/balcony area that we went after we ate to take pictures. Only thing I recommend is to call to see the current menu. The menu online shows the summer menu but for the winter months they use a shorter menu.

Ridiculousness. We made a reservation for two months ago, and finally we’re here for our reservation, and there’s all of a sudden ‘no tables available’. They made us wait until there’s available seating, meanwhile, we’ve had this reservation booked for months.. Don’t take reservations if you just blatantly ignore them. We got here a half hour early as well. Not impressed!

One star because I have to - should be zero. We stopped here for a “quick lunch†while visiting red rocks. The food is all school cafeteria quality - but priced at a nice restaurant price. We paid $56 for two salads, a beer, and a Bloody Mary. In addition, the service was ridiculously bad. We sat a full 45 minutes before our food was brought out and served to another table and then picked up from that table and reserved for us when they realized their error. We found a hair in one of the salads. Tables that sat and ordered a full twenty minutes after we did were served at the same time as us. We received no apology from the staff either for our long wait or for the fact that they served our plates to other patrons and then picked it up and served it to us. Highly disappointing, bad food, bad service, all around bad experience.

ate there with my family last Friday and it was excellent. everyone was friendly, nice menu with many options. the food was very good, well cooked, seasoned, fresh. We ordered the chocolate brownie dessert and the creme brule. both were delicious! large portions that should be shared.

Went for a private party and was really impressed by the food and the staff. They were all attentive and friendly and made sure we had a great night. There's a lot of history about red rocks to read about and some memorabilia too. There's also the rocks to look at which are stunning.
Courtney Comfort
It was awesome. The food was good. And came out super quick. I don't think I've ever had faster service.
Meghan Hahn
Kind of pricey for the type of cuisine they serve. The view is awesome, though, and the mountains beautiful. The food is fairly tasty, the cheesesteak excellent but the chicken sandwich is so so.
Laura Renée Chandler
One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The food was average, and the service was absolutely atrocious. The waiter refused to answer any questions about the menu, he rushed us to put in our orders, and spent the afternoon cursing and using epithets about other customers. Then he refused to split the check because it was too difficult for him to count. Save your time and money and go somewhere that’s worth it. It’s a shame that this is the only restaurant option in the area.

After a great visit to Red Rocks decided to try Ship Rock Grille right there at the amphitheater and eat lunch. We were seated at an outside table immediately. The food was very good, and the waitress/server was very nice and attentive. Of course the views were great. Overall a great atmosphere with a tasty meal and dessert.
Kathy Goodrich
Really great prime rib buffet before concert! Definitely recommend.

Food, service, ambience and decor was all just very wonderful...

Great place for a bite if you are visiting red rocks. Be sure to sit on the patio for great ambience and views.

The food is really good. The atmosphere on the patio is fantastic . I'm bumping it down three stars for the reservation process. They couldn't find my reservation, blaming it on their wifi connection. There were many tables open, but it took them a while to seat us. Then it took 20 minutes to place an order which left us getting to our seat just after the concert had started. The waiters did a great job and were sprinting to accomadate patrons, but it was obvious the mgmt should staff a few more. Especially when your entire customer base is on schedule to see a show at your venue, timely service should be a priority. We will return in the future to see if this has improved, and if it has, I will be happy to provide a higher rating.

Food is good and the staff is friendly. Very clean. Scenery is amazing.

Wonderful meal and beautiful setting.
Lillian Pagan
Only thing going for this place is the view. Menu and service is par for the price.
Andrea Gnojek
Beautiful views, nice patio! Food was good but not memorable and a bit overpriced. Parking in the upper north lot is close to the restaurant but keep in mind there are still stairs.
Russ M
Great service and awesome views from the patio. Delicious cheese steaks loaded with green chilies. Bloodies are tasty as well. Prices very reasonable. Will be back next time we visit Red Rocks.
Lark Hudson
The food was excellent, but the service was subpar. We were greeted when we walked in and it went downhill from there. Our server took our food order, but didn't offer any other beverage. Then when we got our appetizer we went without drinks for 5-10 minutes. We asked Taylor, another server, if she could refill our drinks and her response was "I'm a food runner, so ask your server." She was very rude.
Johan Lindstrom
Great place to chill.

Ate here while visiting the ampitheater in the afternoon- no other places to eat. We were seated but our waitress didn't show up for a good ten minutes and never really checked on us. The peach salsa in the trio of salsas tasted like they poured gasoline in it. The wings were okay. The hot dog was okay.
Mark Comstock
Good food & beer, large portions, been to red rocks 100 times but never even knew it was here. Staff is nice.
Mattie Webb
This is a very great place to get a bite to eat. They accommodated our large party even though some of us were 30 minutes late for our reservation. The scenery is stunning. And I had the fish and chips which were amazing. Everyone in our party liked their lunches. I'm sure we'll be back again.
